Like her daughter Kylie, Caitlyn Jenner is getting into the makeup biz. The 66-year-old announced today that she is teaming up with MAC Cosmetics.
Jenner shared the news on Instagram, saying “all sales of our lipstick shade, Finally Free, go toward improving transgender communities.”
Finally Free is a mid-tone, rosy nude lipstick that MAC says “champions all ages, all races, and all sexes.” The proceeds from the sale of Finally Free will go to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.
“MAC was the first to come to me, and a company, I realized, would really make a big commitment. I knew the VIVA GLAM campaigns; I saw that the proceeds were going, in those cases, mainly to AIDS and HIV causes, and I was wondering if they were interested in doing something specifically geared toward trans issues because we need funding,” Jenner told the brand.
This news comes after her move last week to file a trademark for exclusive rights to sell makeup under her name. As for the MAC collection, it comes out in April.
