Taking a page out of the Kardashian playbook, the Duggars announced Jeremy Vuolo has popped the question to 22-year-old Jinger after just one month of courting and it all went down in front of the cameras. The news comes as TLC announces an August premiere date for Jill & Jessa: Counting On.
“So excited to share this news that we are now engaged,” the couple told People. “From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship. We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together. It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days.”
While they’re only been officially together for a few weeks, the couple met back in May through Jessa and Ben Seewald.
“We are very excited to begin this journey together,” says Vuolo who has left the professional soccer circuit to pursue a career in the ministry.
The news comes after Jinger, Jeremy, Michelle and Jim Bob were spotted at a frozen yoghurt shop in Laredo, Texas. The store shared a photo of the couples when the internet attacked.

The backlash comes as many advertisers have backed out of airing their spots during the TLC show. This season will be a test for the Duggars who are rapidly losing popularity and entering into reality-TV notoriety.
