Have you heard of the kyriarchy? It’s a recently coined term that Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza used in her book, But She Said: Feminist Practices of Biblical Interpretation, in the early 90s.
It comes from the Greek words kyrios (master or lord) and archo (to lead or govern). Simply, kyriarchy is a social system built on domination, oppression, and submission, and @feministastic wants to smash it.
