Ryan Sweeting isn’t just trying to boycott paying estranged wife Kaley Cuoco, but he also wants spousal support from the television star, reports People.
The couple filed for divorce back in September after 21 months of marriage. Sweeting, 28, and Cuoco, 29, did sign a pre-nup before they exchanged ‘I dos’ after three brief months of courting. It seems like just yesterday Cuoco was all about playing house and serving ‘her man’.
It wasn’t yesterday — but it was earlier this year. Big Bang Theory‘s Cuoco made some bold statements about rejecting the feminist label in her Redbook interview when the actress was asked if she considered herself a feminist.
“Is it bad if I say no? It’s not really something I think about,” the television star told the publication. After explaining her position as someone who has ‘never really faced inequality‘ she went on to say, “I cook for Ryan five nights a week: It makes me feel like a housewife; I love that. I know it sounds old fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I’m so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him.”
Well, it seems he likes her serving him too. Now, after citing irreconcilable differences, he’d rather her serve him dollars instead of dinner.
PS, Cuoco, in case you’re still wondering — the answer is yes — yes, it’s bad if you say no to being a feminist. The end.
