Forbes released their annual report of the highest paid actresses on TV and Sofia Vergara made the top spot for the fifth time in a row. The Colombian actress makes $43 million a year – far more than runner up Kaley Cuoco who made a whopping $24.5 million herself.

Vergara’s 2016 income is way up from last year’s $28.5 million, and that’s because of her lucrative endorsement deals. On top of making a reported $325,000 per episode back in 2014 (her current Modern Family salary isn’t known), the 44-year-old has been the face of companies such as Burger King and Diet Pepsi. The really lucrative endorsements are CoverGirl, Nespresso and Head and Shoulders. But the secret (not really a secret) behind her successful career is her talent management and entertainment marketing firm LatinWe.

Representing Hispanic talent and “100% Hispanic owned” the firm has signed Emmy Award-winner Raúl De Molina, actor and Dancing with the Stars contestant Cristián de la Fuente, and Univision host and Revlon brand ambassador Alejandra Espinoza to name a few.

LatinWe, which Vergara co-founded with music promoter Luis Balaguer, is estimated to be worth around $27 million adding to the businesswoman’s net worth.

Mindy Kaling, Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay round out the top five on the list of highest paid TV actresses and Kerry Washington landed the number six spot. Canadian Castle star Stana Katic came in at number seven with $12 million and Priyanka Chopra followed with $11 million.

Not a bad list to be on!
