Comedian Tig Notaro and actress Stephanie Allynne tied the knot over the weekend in front of celebrity guests including Alicia Silverstone, Sarah Silverman, Lucy Lawless, and Lake Bell.
The couple met on the set of In a World in 2013, but their relationship started a year later when they reconnected. At the time cameras were following Notaro as filmmakers Kristina Goolsby and Ashley York were making a documentary about the comedian who had just been diagnosed with cancer. In addition to capturing the couple falling in love, they also happened to capture Allynne’s coming out.
“Well, it’s interesting because when we were first hanging out, there were cameras wherever she would go, so I knew she was making a documentary and I didn’t want to be on it. There’s certain moments where I know I’m ducking off in a corner in places. And then once we were kind of more ‘Oh we’re definitely in a relationship,’ it’s weirder for me not to be,” the actress told AfterEllen.
44-year-old Notaro and 31-year-old Allynne got married in Pass Christian, Mississippi on Saturday – Allynne’s hometown.
Wedding night sex is better than regular sex cause you finally have an excuse to not have it.
