The RNC is in full swing with celebrity speeches and open racism, but the convention-goers didn’t see this one coming. 90s hit-makers Third Eye Blind were in Cleveland to perform for the politicians, and as we were about to add them to the ever-growing list of dumb celebrities who support Trump, they surprised us in the best way possible.

The band behind ‘Semi-Charmed Life’ refused to perform any of their hits (except for one) and took the opportunity to express their own views.

“To love this song is to take into your heart the message and to actually have a feeling to arrive and move forward and not live your life in fear and imposing that fear on other people,” lead singer Stephan Jenkins said before launching into ‘Jumper,’ a song written about a gay friend who commits suicide.

At one point Jenkins also reportedly yelled out: “Who here believes in science?” and the audience booed.

Screen Shot 2016-07-20 at 12.35.48 PMThese RNC attendees have also been spotted wearing horribly sexist Hillary Clinton merchandise. The sexist swag is in line with the convention’s anti-Hillary theme.

“Trump that bitch” bumper stickers, “Hillary For Prison 2016″ and “Hillary sucks but not like Monica” t-shirts, and shirts showing a cartoon Trump on a motorcycle with a top reading “if you can read this the bitch fell off” while a cartoon Clinton falls off the back.

Screen Shot 2016-07-20 at 12.34.23 PMPerhaps the worst of all are pins that read “KFC Hillary Special: 2 fat thighs, 2 small breasts…left wing.”

A spokesperson for the restaurant chain says they have nothing to do with the button and “does not endorse any political candidate and certainly does not support offensive, derogatory portrayals of any person.”

KFC says it isn’t ruling out legal action.
