The Bad Romance singer is engaged to actor Taylor Kinney who just won the People’s Choice Award for “Favourite Dramatic TV Actor.” The Chicago Fire star brought his mom to the awards show and she told Entertainment Tonight about the first time she met Gaga, a.k.a. Stefani Germanotta.

“My mother had just passed away and [Gaga] came, and she was just the sweetest thing that ever was,” Pamela Heisler said about the “somber” day. “When [Taylor] said she’s coming, I said, ‘No, this isn’t a good time.’ And she came, and she was a sweetheart.”

“I loved her from the moment I met her,” Heisler added.
